busy bee

We have been very busy around these parts. Lots of changes and new beginnings! And it doesn't look like things will be slowing down any time soon. That's okay with me for now. Everything comes in waves, right?

I snagged a great Groupon a few weeks back and now have a real, live Tiny Dancer on my hands. Oy. This one is quite the ham in front of all those mirrors, not to mention the other little kids and moms. Last week she kept doing this hilarious/maddening little shake over and over. She would stand in front of the mirror and turn so her tush was facing the mirror. Then look over her shoulder and hold her arms up like she was doing the chicken dance. Then kind of bend forward and shake her tushy at the mirror! MY child! Over and over and over again, cracking up at herself each and every time, screeching something about her tushy. I literally didn't know whether to crack up or run out, mortified.

I cut my hair! About 8 inches or so. I'm loving it.

We've been enjoying nicer weather this week! On Monday (I think?), it was up in the 70's! I'll take it. I am SO ready for spring! Can you believe it's time to change the clocks already this tonight?? That snuck up on me but I'm super excited to have more daylight in the evenings.

And finally, I have been spending lots of quality time with my sewing machine, lately. I have been toying with the idea of opening an Etsy store for a while now, and was planning to have it be an extension of Lilac Row. But after some thought, I'm going in a different direction online. I'm still working out the details and branding and brainstorming more product ideas, but here's a peek at what I've been sewing all week- sweet little girl aprons! You'll be the first to hear once I have the store up and running.

Happy weekend!
